In addition to our main camping areas and group camping area, Clarence River Wilderness Lodge has a number of extra special remote camping sites.
From your special spot in the bush you’ll have your own private access to the river and it’s possible to imagine there is no one around for miles!
With our remote campsites we deliberately restrict the number of bookings to retain the idyllic wilderness experience and you will be guaranteed exclusive use of the remote camp site you have booked.
Our remote camp sites come with a fire ring with BBQ plate, but you’ll need to bring your own shelter, chairs, kitchen (including washing up gear) and tent.
You are welcome to either use our amenities block with hot showers and pit toilets, just a short 50 metre walk from the remote camping area, or you can BYO your own toilet and shower facilities.
At all our remote camping sites you can drive in all your gear and keep your vehicle with you to camp.
